Welcome to LamboBlog Diary!
Started our fine day by visiting and delivering foods and necessities to 3 NGOs for the project of #Lambo2gether Helping Hand!
What is #Lambo2gether Helping Hand?
An act of kindness, no matter how small, is never wasted. Lending a helping hand to people in hardship, take it as an opportunity to give back to the community! It’s a project that people can easily make a monetary donation via our website, LamboPlace, with a simple click. We transform them into product donations to the people in need. Customers who donate can enjoy a free deal from us in return! Kind people are worth being rewarded!
Why and When do we start #Lambo2gether Helping Hand?
The community suffered from the pandemic in the year 2021, and a lot of people lost the ability to sustain themselves, especially for food and daily needs, hence we initiated this project in August 2021 to let our customers do charity while shopping at our platform in a click. This project ended in April 2022 with an optimistic amount of donations with the extra top-up from LamboPlace.
We are sending the necessities to:
- The Lost Food project
The Lost Food Project (TLFP) is a not-for-profit organisation rescuing lost food and giving it to those in need.
TLFP has grown from a handful of volunteers collecting surplus boxes of vulnerable persons with nutritious food and addressing needless waste in the food industry.
We are dropping the donated items to the respective truck, there are few of the similar trucks which they will disseminate to the people in need.

2. Kechara Food Bank
Kechara Soup Kitchen provides basic sustenance, medical care and welfare aid to the homeless or in need.
They focus on helping the poor and the marginalised who are at risk of becoming homeless.
The PR manager was kind enough to bring us on tour, there are 2 floors in total, the ground floor is the food and necessities storage and the 2nd floor is the development center. It’s so grateful to know the whole organisation is well-managed and organised!
3. Kindly Orphan & Handicap Welfare Homes
Kindly Orphan & Handicap Welfare Homes is a non-profit NGO Charity Orphanage.
It was established to help many unfortunate and helpless people in society (Children, children with disabilities, children with financial problems, ad various disadvantaged groups).
We visited from the car porch area only given the current situation to be safe. There are 7 disabled orphans and 2 babies staying in this welfare home. The environment is clean and organised, managed by 3 kind souls.
It was indeed a meaningful and fruitful day, although it may be a small power that we can do to help the whole community, we sincerely thank you for all the contributors and supports in this project! And stay tuned for more upcoming exciting CSR projects!
