The important feature that we incorporated is Copper Oxide. Conventional surgical-type masks only block virus from exiting the mask – they don’t have an active mechanism for killing it once it’s trapped in the mask. Empro has been designed to use existing barrier technology but also to combine it with α-virion, a Copper Oxide nanoparticle technology that kills 99.9% of the virus once it is trapped in the mask.    

This viricidal layer is effective for up to 24 hours. Most surgical masks are only effective for around 4 hours, which averagely an individual need to wear three masks per day.

Empro Self-sterilising / Copper Oxide – killing COVID-19 and longer effective life can reduce the number of masks required, therefore reducing costs for every consumer. All our mask are VFE 99.9%, the more effective a mask is as a barrier against viruses. A mask with a VFE of 99.9%, blocks 99.9% of virus-containing droplets it is exposed to.
