The "Black" of our Squid Pop actually come from 100% natural squid ink and the "Orange" colour actually come from 100% freshly squeezed carrot juices...

Where does UMAMI get its fish from? 

The founder has been getting his fish supply from Kuala Selangor and Ijok for the family long before he started the Umami business. He has built a strong rapport with the local fish mongers, so naturally when Umami is started, he procured all of its ingredients from them.

He and his family goes to Kuala Selangor every fortnight and sometime every weekly during high season to select the freshest possible products for Umami Kitchen (while taking his family to sample the best seafood restaurant in the area). 

That is why Umami is always fresh and delicious!!
