io Fuki Kombu is a traditional Japanese food consisting of thin strips of salted kelp. It is made by simmering down kelp with soy sauce. 

• Once the seaweed is cooked and dried, the soy sauce changes into crystalline salt on the surface.
• Shio Fuki Kombu is packed with umami and rich in calcium and dietary fiber. Japanese like to eat this seasoned seaweed shreds with plain white rice in particular. 
• Shio Fuki Kombu can be used as a Furikake, the main ingredient in dishes like Ochazuke.
